Illinois, 60631. Aluminum hood vent and Reeves Snaplock B-style pipe. One unit tested.
The DryerDock vent-pipe adapter would not
insert directly into this vent. We had to spread the end with pliers in order for the
adapter to fit. This vent appears to be identical to the unbranded vent which we obtained from Copeland Lumber,
and the DryerDock vent-pipe adapter fit that vent without any
problems. Even though they appear to be identical, we do not have proof that they are
manufactured by the same company. If they are, it appears to us the difference in fit may
be attributed to manufacturing variance. |
